On May 27th a webinar with Dr. David Holtzman was hosted by Cure Alzheimer’s Fund. Dr. Holtzman is the co-creator of a new blood test to aid in the diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease. Following his presentation a conversation with Meg Smith answered questions about the use of the blood test with patients and research. This webinar is 60 minutes in duration. 


Dr. David Holtzman, M.D., is a distinguished neurologist and neuroscientist at Washington University Medical School in St. Louis and a long-standing member of the Cure Alzheimer’s Fund Research Leadership Group. Dr. Holtzman is a co-creator of the new blood test designed to assist physicians with diagnosing Alzheimer’s disease. His lab has published extensively on the neurobiology of APOE, neuronal activity, glucose, insulin, and the impact of sleep with Alzheimer’s disease.


Meg Smith is Executive Vice President of Research Management for Cure Alzheimer’s Fund and has been in this position for six years.
